Builder's Remarks: The Leopard 45 has been awarded 2017 Boat of the Year by Cruising World Magazine. This is the 7th Cruising World Boat of the Year win by Leopard. The award was in the newly created Best Charter Catamaran category, showcasing the expertise of South African Builders, Robertson and Caine, in creating boats suited for the charter industry.
The judging involved thorough dockside inspections and sea trials conducted by a team of three independent industry experts. The Leopard 45 excelled in all areas, particularly in performance and innovation. The judges noted the spacious forward cockpit, which connects to the saloon through a translucent door, and the main saloon featuring a forward-facing galley and dinette. Visibility throughout the Leopard 45 was also highlighted as excellent.
Broker's Remarks: NIKKINOO is a rare crewed version of the 45 with upgraded specifications. It shows well with less usage due to its location and Covid times. The engine hours are low compared to other 45s in the fleet. It benefits from flexi teak in the cockpits, a cockpit fridge, a watermaker, and an inverter.
