2010 model year Moody 45 DS found in excellent condition. This Moody 45 DS is in absolutely fantastic shape and ready for its next adventure be it short or across oceans. It has a newer water maker, upgraded 110 HP Yanmar, Panda Generator, 350 watts solar, brand new 380 Amp Hour AGM batteries, brand new highfield dinghy with brand new 15HP Tohatsu motor, high speed Starlink internet installed just to mention a few of the upgrades. It is turnkey ready to head to blue water.
The Moody 45 DS is a virtually unique design, built in Germany and designed by Bill Dixon. Her raised pilot saloon provides light and airy seating and she has the preferred three cabin/two heads layout, with palatial Owners forward cabin with en-suite bathroom, plus two guest cabins with a shared heads. Easily handled rig with self-tacking jib, electric in mast furling, electric winches, solar panels and a generator. Carefully maintained by her owner, she is currently cruising the Eastern Med. She has been fitted out to allow self-contained extended cruising.
Recent works: New highfield dinghy, tohatsu 15Hp motor, brand new house battery bank and both engine and generator have been serviced. Rigging has been inspected, sails are recent (circa 5 years old).
