‘Celtic’ is a light, comfortable, pretty cruising catamaran. She is in excellent, near-new condition, less than a year old (bought from new in June 2009).
A seaworthy, stable boat being a catamaran, she is an easy-to-handle mast head rig and will tack under the large main alone. Lifting twin centreboards give her great sailing performance, whilst also giving a wonderful 18’ (0.46m) draft for exploring shallow waters. Additionally, for extra fun and speed, she is fitted with a Screecher, similar to a cruising chute, with its own track which runs across the bows. A major advantage is her beam of 2.4m, meaning she is charged as a monohull in marinas.
The boat’s interior is spacious, open, light and airy with a living room-style saloon, double-sided galley, comfortable head, private forward cabin with queen bed, two private aft cabins and plenty of storage throughout.
The cockpit is generously sized and becomes an extra living space, with well-designed enclosure options. The boat has many extras such as radar and an integrated chart plotter. €134,000. |

Sceda tecnica informativa
E' stato costruito nel 1967 dal cantiere “OFFICINE MECCANICHE DI CHERBURG” in Bretagna nella Francia del nord per commissione della scuola di vela dei GLENANTS che aveva richiesto la progettazione per i propri scopi alprogettista Herbulot ,68 e' il numero di costruzione attribuito dal cantiere riportato sulla randa origonale.
E'stato poi ,30 anni dopo,venduto a un privato svizzero,e poi ancora ad uno francese,da cui ho acquistato la barca 4 anni fa' .Ho compiuto via mare il tragitto dalla Spagna dove si trovava all'Italia attraversando il Golfo del Leone senza alcun problema ne rottura.Dispongo dell'atto di vendita stipulato con l'ultimo proprietario e l'atto di cancellazione dal registro francese per l'estortazione in Italia.Essendo un natante non ho iscritto la barca al registro italiano poiche' facoltativo.
Restauro
Giunto in Italia ho ritenuto opportuno iniziare un'opera di restauro totale per le perti lignee e di rimessa a modo delle attrezzature.Ho affidato il restauro dell'opera viva e dell 'opera morta al cantiere VALDETTARO di La Spezia. E'stata rimossa la verniciatura fino a riportarla a legno,sono poi state applicate 6 mani di resina epossidica e completato il trattamento west sistem con finitura a legno lucido primter e antivegetativa rossa. Non sono stati evidenziati punti ne di rotture ne di marciume. Il ponte e la tuga sono verniciati bianchi antisdrucciolo (necessitano di una riverniciatura) e verranno rimesso a modo appena terminato il riordino dell'attrezzatura velica e dei rinvii.
Attrezzatura di coperta
Tutte le drizze sono state sostituite,le sartie sono state controllate e sono solide e di ottima qualita',gli arridatoi sono in ottone sbloccati unti e ripisizionati,e' inoltre stato sostituito tutto il set di candelieri basamenti e doppia draglia in acciaio 216. Pulpito e balcone di poppa sono in bronzo da sverniciare. Sono stati sostituiti i vecchi Winch con 2 barent 25 in bronzo d'epoca a 1 velocita', mentre gli originali ,ancora ottimi ma piu' piccoli, verranno posizionati sulla tuga per i rinvii di randa e fiocchi.
