| 'Alma' is a sound boat built by Raynes from Cantieri Carezzola in 1979. She is mahogany sheathed in glass fibre. She points well and sails quite fast in light airs. She has all the usual instruments. She is easily handled single handed although there are berths for 6 with a double fore peak, a good sized quarter berth and the central table drops to give another double with a single sofa berth to port. The cabin table seats 6. There is a large navigation table to starboard and is forward facing with loads of chart stowage under. There is a teak bathing platform astern of the transome. There is pressurised hot water from a calorifier in the galley and head. The galley also has a fresh water foot pump. There is a fridge (12 volts), The winches are Barbarosa and Antel 121s. |

1 x Diesel The Volvo Penta has been regularly maintained with the seal for the leg changed in 2004. The 55 amp alternator was renewed in 2009. Engine access is through the main cabin, sides and via the lifting cockpit sole. Whilst the engine is the original, the boat has been sailed rather than motored. It is a clean looking engine and runs smoothly. |

Mahogony sheathed with figre glass. There is a fin and skeg.
The boat has a moveable inner forestay for using the storm jib.
The mast has steps to the masthead. all rigging was renewed in 2005.
There are 4 sails:
Main - new 2009
Genoa with furling gear 'Nemo', new in 2005
Spinnaker 7 pole - 10 yrs old
storm jib
All lines are led aft to the cockpit.
There is a backstay tensioner.
The cockpit has 3 lockers, two is very generous
Ground tackle includes Bruce 7 kg X 2 with 15m of 8mm chain
Batteries are 2 X 100 AH with diverter switch.
Dinghy - Plastimar 2.2 with Evinrude 4 hp
Simrad Autopilot - new 2009
Alma has many extras and is sound if not cosmetically too glossy. This is reflected in the price
